I decided to throw my name into the pool of PPA Affiliated Speakers this year. As a past president I know how hard it can be to get good speakers for monthly meetings. You can expect me to be resenting at February 12th’s INPPA Meeting.
I have learned so much from other speakers and several people have asked me to speak, but on what? What do I do better than most? PPA Affiliate speakers need to be experts on the chosen subject.
I would venture to say what I do best is juggle multiple responsibilities.
You see my brain doesn’t work in straight lines. It may take me a very round about way to get from A-C. I may detour over to the letter ‘L’ and then stop in briefly to check on the letter ‘X’ then jumping back to the letter ‘B’.
From a traditional productivity standpoint this should not work. But for me it does. Over the years I have learned or taught myself a number of way to prevent things from falling thru the cracks. One thing of importance I have discovered is to take time to set goals, both short and long term. Tonight I will walk our members thru how I approach goal setting and more!
